Who we are

This website is operated by Kamb Trading (Pty) Ltd trading as LAUNCHT, registration 2022/846711/07, of 3 Varing Avenue, Windsor Park, George, 6529, Western Cape, South Africa. Under the Protection of Personal Information Act we are the responsible party for the information described here. You can reach us at hello@launcht.co.za.

What we collect

What you type into the enquiry form. Your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, business name, website, what you need, a rough budget band and your message.

A small amount of technical context sent with it. The page you submitted from, the site that referred you, any campaign tags in the link you arrived on, and your browser's user agent. We also store a one-way hash of your IP address, which lets us rate-limit abuse without keeping the address itself.

Nothing else. This site sets no advertising cookies, runs no tracking pixels and has no third-party embeds. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Why we have it, and what we do with it

We use your enquiry to reply to it and to scope the work you asked about. That is the lawful basis: you asked us to. If you tick the optional box we may also send you something occasionally useful, and one click ends that.

We do not sell your information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not add you to anything you did not tick.

Who else sees it

Your enquiry is stored in our database, which is hosted by Supabase. That is an operator processing it on our instructions and nothing more. If you become a client, your information moves into the same system that runs your client portal, and the terms of your engagement cover it from there.

We will disclose information where the law requires it. We will not otherwise.

AI, plainly

Your enquiry is not fed into an AI model, and nothing you send us is used to train anything. Our full position on where automation is and is not used, and what never goes into a model, is published at how we use AI.

How long we keep it

An enquiry that does not become work is kept for 24 months and then deleted, so that we can pick up a conversation you started last year without asking you to repeat yourself. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we are using it, and withdraw any consent you gave. Email hello@launcht.co.za and we will action it within a reasonable period at no charge.

If you are not satisfied with how we handled it, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, enquiries are transmitted encrypted, and the database that holds them is access-controlled with no public read access. No system is perfect, and if something happens that affects you we will tell you rather than hope you do not notice.

Changes

If this policy changes we update the date at the top. Changes apply going forward, not backwards over information you have already given us.
